Inspired by the growing movement towards sustainable living and a passion for culinary creativity, I received a task to create a brand that celebrates resourcefulness and transforms food waste into delicious possibilities.
The design process focused on capturing the essence of Re Saved's mission: playful creativity and a commitment to minimizing waste. I explored various logo concepts, typography pairings, and color palettes to create a visual language that is both modern and approachable.
The logo, incorporates a playful, handwritten cake stand, traditionally used for displaying and elevating fine pastries, symbolizes Re Saved's dedication to elevate everyday ingredients into culinary masterpieces. The chosen typography complements this playful yet sophisticated aesthetic, reflecting the brand's handcrafted approach.
Packaging plays a crucial role in communicating Re Saved's values. I prioritized sustainable and reusable materials, such as beeswax wraps and recycled paper, to create packaging that is both beautiful and environmentally conscious.
The Re Saved app serves as a hub for culinary inspiration, offering a curated collection of recipes and tips for minimizing food waste. The app's design is intuitive and visually appealing, encouraging users to explore the world of sustainable cooking.
Re Saved is more than just a brand; it's a movement towards a more sustainable, yet flavorful future. This project demonstrates the use of design to inspire positive change and create a brand that resonates with both consumers and the planet.
